Significantly, caza del Mar. A Privilege Access Club ... gives the Affiliate's immediate family full access to the facilities of Caza Del Mar, a resort within the Puerto Azul Complex. So while one is enjoying his game, his family can also enjoy their activities at the resort's many amenities, like the pool, the wave pool, picnic grounds, and hiking trails, to name a few.

Currently, we are also fixing the Main Clubhouse for the Affiliate, their family, and guests. Here, they may enjoy its numerous amenities like the specialty restaurant, spa and wellness center, sauna, cigar/wine/cheese room, ballroom, private function room, pro shop, and veranda dining overlooking the coastal water and the 18th hole. Private and separate showers and lockers for men and women will soon be available.

The Water Park (Cool Waves) also offers various water activities and beach facilities, including a wave pool for the whole family to enjoy.

What accommodations are available for them to book?
Premier Accommodations
For those who would like to stay the night, or two, accommodations within Puerto Azul/Caza Del Mar Resort will also be available for them to book, in one of the six (6) Exclusive Villas that have been completed within the property, which are now open to Caza Del Mar Affiliates as well.

Likewise, they may also choose to book their stay in one of the 12 Exclusive Kasitas that are now nearing completion close to the beach, and which will soon accommodate all our affiliates.

What is being done at the Zamora Championship Course?
Currently, it is undergoing a major facelift and rehabilitation.

Starting this August, and for the next few months, the golf Course will continue to undergo re-development to open in time of summer of 2025. With work on the golf course now in full swing, there will be a scheduled course opening a few times in November for a playability test for a select invited few. The major opening will be in January 2025.

Once fully completed, it will showcase the best of Philippine golf in a dramatic setting along the coastal waters of Manila Bay, with a distant view of Corregidor Island.

Who are the major proponents of the re-development of the Zamora Championship Course?
The Golf Course re-development is being done under a partnership between Salvador Buddy B. Zamora Tanzen Group, and CDMC, developer of Caza Del Mar Resort in Puerto Azul.

Who is doing the actual re-development of the Golf Course?
We have secured the services of Golforce Incorporated to do the re-development of the Golf Course.

Golfforce Inc. prides itself as the company at the forefront of conducting all-weather golf courses in the early 90s in the country, a period considered the renaissance of modern courses in the Philippines. It is the only company that constructed all of Jack Nicklaus-designed courses in the Philippines, starting with the Legends and Master courses of the Manila Southwoods Golf and Country Club. It also had the opportunity to work with renowned design groups such as Arnold Palmer, Pete Dye, Greg Norman, and Graham Marsh.

It employs an elite team of seasoned and dedicated professionals with cumulative experience in handling over 500 holes in golf construction and maintenance. Currently, Golf Force also handles the maintenance of the following exclusive and private Golf Clubs - The Orchard, Camp John Hay, Forest Hills, Sherwood Hills, Splendido, and Fairways & Bluewater.

The Puerto Azul Golf Course has long been held in the highest esteem by the elders of the golf community who remember the golf course in its glory days. The juxtaposition of the two nines makes for the quintessential Filipino golf experience contrasting the environs of rainforest and ocean. Though golf clubs offer similar experiences, Puerto Azul is a special site for golf. It's something that must be experienced to be fully appreciated.

The Moving Force Behind
The entry of the group of Salvador (Buddy) Zamora, Jr. revitalized the golf course. His vision was a true championship golf course that was accessible to all in a venue that highlights the Philippines as a golf destination. The results so far have been nothing short of stunning. The golf isn't bad, either.

Challenge Completed
The key was to bring the course back up to excellence in conditioning and playability. That meant adding length to the golf course. Although the scorecard reads 7,097 from the championship tees, because of the size of the tee boxes, it is possible to stretch the course out to over 7,300 yards. The length in and of itself shouldn't be an issue, but the often narrow tree-lined fairways make finding the fairways absolutely crucial to recording a good score.

The opening nine is the longer and more difficult of the two. It takes one on a tour of the old-grown rainforest and up into the hills just above it. The first six holes comprise the gauntlet; once past these, the golfer can breathe easier. The shorter, narrower closing nine takes him into the adjacent valley and out towards the sea. It's more exposed to the elements and with the prevailing wind blowing into the golfer on seven of the nine holes, there is the potential for more volatility here.
